The cost of diversity

An ecologist in California has calculated  the energy required to evolve a new species. The amount of energy is about that required by the United States in one year. Not too suprising I guess.

I just wonder, whether the IDiots will take this and use it as a new claim against evolution. Let’s see 6000 years, not too many species. Yep, they’ll take this and run with it.
